I’m excited about my new dry eraser board … Its huge and will cover one of the walls in my home office. Special thanks goes out to my website(s) project investor / best friend. She my Eduardo, technically owns 33% of new site profits. If you have watched The Social Network, you’ll under.

But, anyway according to my measurements it should fit in my car on a slant without the box of course. We shall see, picking it up from her office tomorrow. Yeah, I know she should of just shipped it her… But, she got a company discount so it had to go there.

Group creation – SoSw/SoKs

I spent sometime looking for a facebook style group script. Apparently one does not exist, so the next step is to create one or convert a forum like Vanilla into one. Hmm, I’d be creating two new table in SoSw / SoKs site db; social_groups (Actual Groups) and social_grppost (User Posting) or hacking up Vanilla which may be challenge but less code work. Time to ask for advice…

update.
Decide to go with Vanilla forum script and modify the hell out of it, turning it into a Groups script. I’ve installed the script, configuring it with mods and security fixes… now the task of stripping it down remove everything that’s not needed. Vanilla is a light weight script so this should be fairly easy.

Finally up

My blog is finally up and functional… Its definitely not a business blog, its just my personal space to vent and for friends to keep up with my latest projects… Nothing flashy or over the top here, but be ready to be WOW’d by three upcoming personal projects that I’m currently developing.

I’ll be adding a mobile photo gallery when I get a chance but other than that this is it… back to work.

Rundown on everything…

  • PixelBin in short it a photo push site I’m developing, Summer 2012 Release.
  • SocialToDo, WOW! :) lets just say by chance I was able to pitched a foggy idea I had, to an Advertising VP of a pretty well known dating site. He liked my idea and wants me to create a working test version / api. So, keep checking back …
  • SoSw/SoKs … you’ll probably see the two abbrev. used a lot. Its for a site that you’ll probably only get to see bits and pieces of, unfortunately I can not and will not list all my site projects in one location.  I’ve spent 2year dev’ing this site in my spare time 100% from the ground up, Launch in less than a month.
  • Picture of car trunk… that’s my trunk don’t ask. Speaking of which I need a new side battery bolt.

Social Networking… I don’t mix clients/business, friends and family on social sites. So if you have my LinkedIn you probably will not have my FB or Twitter, same goes in reverse. Only one person has all three and that’s my best friend.

About Me… I love to work. Being able to code and create just about any idea I think up is awesome.

72hrs code-athon ….

I’m currently two hours into my 72 hour code-athon. Just got done with a server and site setup… some light coding needed to be done. Now time for the hardcore php programming that I love.
